Lisa M. Miller
Lisa M. Miller is an inclusive mind-body health specialist and social justice advocate. She's passionate about the intersection of perennial wisdom teachings with modern therapeutic-arts and sciences in healing. Her workshops help women in every life-chapter to integrate physical, emotional and spiritual wellness. In this field for 25 years as an energy healer, and trained in clinical chaplaincy, Lisa works from the approach that health is much more than the "absence of disease" and serves a wide demographic through support groups and workshops in: SoulCollage®, Mussar, yoga, meditation, Ayurveda, mixed media art, and creative writing. In each context, humor and synchronicity cheer the deep work of healing and thriving. At the time of publication, Lisa is a first year MFA student in the Naslund-Mann Graduate School of Writing. An empty nester living in Kentucky, she feels really lucky to be married to her 1986 summer camp sweetheart.
Lisa's other books include: The Heart of Leadership for Women: Cultivating a Sacred Space (2020), and Girls Rock! Just the Way We Are: Wise Teens Offer Tweens & Moms Advice on Healthy Body Image, Self-Esteem & Empowerment (Editor, 2005)
Lisa's limited series podcast and former radio show at Lexington Community Radio are called: The Women's Well: Nourish Your Health and Spirit.
